This project was driven by the installation of a new CT scanner. The Hospital has several courtyards and this new site was formed using an offsite manufactured pod. New hospital services were linked into this with dedicated supplies for the scanner, medical gases etc.
 

The newly installed pod was then lead lined on site and finished to their HTM standards. Lead glass was used for the office windows to mitigate the leak of harmful rays and to protect the safety of staff and general patient population. All works were carried out in a live ward area with requirements for control of the public. The £1.5 million scanners were installed, and the entire project was managed by Reflect Healthcare; all attendances were provided where required.
